Summary from Good reads.
This book is amazing. I loved how the book had just the right amount of action, humour, romance and stand offs between Zayne and Roth. Another thing I really liked was how it the book wasn’t cheesy and didn’t over do the whole good verse evil thing. This book is very well written the plot is fast paced and attention grabbing with so many plot twist and cliff hangers that will have you banging your head against the wall in frustration but will also make you more anxious to find out what happens next. Another thing this book had was…Character development. OMG! Over the course of reading the book it was fun to see how Layla’s character developed and changed becoming stronger and wiser everyday. It was also fun to see how Roth and Zayne’s relationship worked out. Going from at each other’s throats to best friends and then at each other’s throats again.
My fav character was Roth. Why you ask? Because of his personality and his wicked awesome snake named Bambi. Roth is a complex, kick butt, stubborn, hot as hell demon. According to Layla and me too that is. Although he seems like a bit of a jerk at the beginning of the book he’s actually a kind hearted person underneath his demon prince persona. Don’t get me wrong I like Zayne too but to me Roth just has that level of depth that Zayne try’s to have but just doesn’t. Although he’s awesome in his own way. I love how in the book he was always there okay almost always there for Layla when she needed him. His character is loyal, honest and protecting. His I’m going to rip your face off if you hurt her thing is awesome too.
Read the book tell me what you think and whether your team Zayne or team Roth.
You know my team, team Roth all the way.
