Teru, a poor and kind girl, recently lost her older brother, her only remaining relative. Before he died, he gave her a cell phone connecting her to a person he said would support her if ever he were unable to. As time passes she is cheered on by text messages sent from this enigmatic person, known only as DAISY. But one day, through an unexpected incident as Teru begins working for the delinquent school janitor, Kurosaki, she starts to question DAISY’s identity. DAISY may be closer to Teru than she thinks. Summary from Goodreads.
I loved this manga! I couldn’t put it down I was so into it! It had me from the very first page. The story line is sad, funny, intense, action packed and just all that and more. I fell in love with this manga series and you will to when you read it. The emotion and the way the story flows is just out of this world good. Read it, love it.
My fav characters.
How can you not love her? She’s the strong female character that everybody wants to be. She kicks butt, talks smack, and isn’t afraid to do things rash. Yes she’s a badass but she’s also a sensitive, caring, sad, fun, people caring, alone person. That is until she meets daisy. Daisy changes her life in what I would call a good way. Let’s just say Teru’s life is about to get all kinds of interesting.
Okay I’ll admit that he comes off a bit okay a lot like a jerk. He’s lazy, arrogant, insult firing, self centered person. Or so he seems but there’s more mystery to Kurosaki then you know. Yes he can be a jerk but he’s also a kind, nice, caring person who just doesn’t know how to let people know what he’s feeling. Oh and he’s hiding a life changing secret from Teru but hey he’s not a bad guy. He’s tough, considerate, and strong and kinda doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut.
