From Summer Rain:

The events of a schoolgirl’s sixtieth birthday?!

Kisaragi Sumi continuously took care of her grandmother, father and mother until she turned 60 years old without ever falling in love. One day after finishing her mother’s funeral service, a cat calling himself Rei appeared and granted her wish to “experience her youth again”. What happens when Sumi gets a second chance as a 17-year-old high-schooler once more?! Summary from Goodreads.

My thoughts so far…

I love this manga. It’s so incredibly cute. Okay I’m going to lie, I love how it’s got a little bit of a supernatural vibe going on. Not to mention the character are pretty awesome to. But the story is about a women well girl now I guess named Sumi. Sumi spent her whole life literally taking care of the people she loved. She missed out on what should have been the happiest time of her life. Which is really sad but it looks like she might get a chance to make that right. I’m not going to give any spoilers. But I will say that reading about all the things she went through, all the things she had to give up, and all the sacrifices she made is really something.

So far from what I’ve read the story line is pretty awesome. It’s not easy going from sixty to seventeen years old so I’ve seen. Sumi has a lot to learn. Like how seventeen year olds dress and act. Because I’m sure we all know that can be a struggle sometimes. But with Rei at her side I’m sure she can master the art of being a teenager. Not to mention the art of love. But since Sumi has never been in love in all her sixty years of living. Rei has his work cut out for him. Although I do wonder what his motives are for doing all this. Since I want to know I’m going to keep reading to find out. If you like adorable stories then I say you should definitely check this one out.
