Blood Lad Omnibus, Vol. 1 (Blood Lad Omnibus #1) by Yuuki Kodama (Creator)
The vampire Staz is one of the most powerful district bosses in the demon world, fending off everyone who dares challenge him. But secretly, the fearsome Staz is obsessed with human culture, especially video games, manga, and everything that comes from Japan! When a Japanese girl wanders into the demon world, Staz can’t wait to meet the human and learn everything he can about her world. Unfortunately, before he’s able to ask her anything, the girl is killed by one of his would-be usurpers, leaving just her bare soul behind. Staz vows to help the girl restore her body and return to her former life-especially since it means taking a trip to the human world himself! Summary from Goodreads.
I heard that this series was really great. That and the anime series. I was wondering why the price at retail sites was expensive but since you mentioned omnibus, I can see why. I am debating to get this in print or save my money and buy it digitally.

Me too that’s why it’s now on my lists. Well I’m going to read the manga first because my friend has it. So I’m just going to borrow it then if I love it maybe I’ll buy it.

Cool. Let us know what you think. Maybe it’s only the anime but I heard that it makes references to the other anime or Japan series.

I will. Really? Hmm I’ll have to watch for that. That could be interesting. Thanks for letting me know.

You’re welcome. If you enjoy the manga series, they also made a spinoff manga called Blood Lad: Bloody Brat. According to the description, the book has 4-panel comics and short stories and behind the scenes. The cover has Staz and his friends reading Blood Lad lol.

Oh really? Cool! I ‘ll definitely check that out. This sounds like it’ll be good.

Sounds like a fun read. I need to start the series for me. I might watch the anime first.

It really does. I need to as well. Although I think I will start with the manga first. Tell me how the anime is when you watch it.

Hopefully I will soon. In the anime, there are 10 episodes but on the DVD, they have an OVA as well. I think it will be a fast and easy show to get into.

Me too. Oh that sounds good. It probably will be from the sound of it. I wonder how good the OVA will be.

I want to know what the OVA is too. I plan to watch in English Dub. The voice for Staz is Bryce Papenbrook (Kirito, Eren Jaeger).

Me too. REALLY! Cool! I want to watch this even more now and in English as well.

You can watch both Dubs on Neon Alley for free. It does not have the OVA however. You will need to buy the DVD.

I shall do that then. Oh that’s sad. Maybe I will we’ll see how much I like it first.

Good plan. If you don’t mind paying extra, if you buy the Blu-ray/DVD combo, it comes with the OVA and bloopers while dubbing.

Sweet. Maybe I will pay a little extra but I don’t know yet.

I am still debating on it here. I like the goodies but I am not sure if I want to pay extra for bloopers or a new DVD case.

I like goodies too but that’s a good point you made. I have to think about this too.

Yeah me too. What gets me the most is when they say exclusive stuff. Anime DVDs like this really try to draw people in when they offer stuff in combo sets.

I am guilty of this as well. They always draw me in and sometimes I need to get my brothers to draw me out.

At least you got your brothers to stop you. I am make the choices and I can not control myself. I am like Kenpachi who can’t control his spiritual powers XD. But then, I get hit by reality checks.

Yeah true some times I have no self control when it comes to anime. Lol nice reference :D. Lol don’t we all.

Thanks. I was thinking about Bleach earlier. Unfortunately, there are many roadbloacks that are blocking my way to watch anime >_<.

Oh Bleach yes you should watch it. Lol I know what you mean there is just never enough time or something else that needs to be done more.

I still need to watch Bleach on Neon Alley. I am in the middle of season 3 where Ichigo saves Rukia but has to fight Byakuya. Yoruichi also fights Soi-Fon.

Oh my goodness I love that part! I won’t spoil it for you but it’s awesome!

You don’t need to worry about that. I vaguely remember what happens lol. I already know the outcome with Ichigo and Byakuya. It was intense battle compared to DBZ with Goku and Vegeta.

Oh okay if you’re sure. Lol 🙂 that was just epic I loved it! Yet felt so torn because I love both of them.I was like no Ichigo, but what about Byakuya. It was very intense but that’s what made it good.
